You could get a tv stand with wheels which allows you to move the tv back and forward easily. I use a S90C 55 as a pc monitor, and it's going great :)

I’ve been using 42” 4K tvs for monitors for 5 or 6 years now. Multiple monitors are annoying to use, take too much desk real estate, and contribute too much to cord clutter. TVs generally have a single two prong cord, I use a desk arm to keep it off the desk and storable, and window managers like divvy make them easier to use than dragging windows across several screens.

So you bought a 2000$ device, some stuff like file navigation and window management sucks, but it can receive iMessages (not text messages, though) and you can easily airdrop files from your phone - so you decided to completely switch. Sounds reasonable!

Really nice video. And also, the most honest review from a former non Apple user/PC user. I’m not a fan boy but using Apple since 2010 because of video and photo production. And Apple is amazing but not flawless. But close to though. And like you, in the previous video, I’ve realized I’ve lost 10 years of my life with PCs. And I agree with every points you mentioned on every devices. Very down to earth, logic and true to honest experience. No bias in sight. Good job. I though you would click more with the keyboard though since it is close match with the laptop. Trackpad, same experience, since I’ve used their laptop back in the days, I’ve understood it was the solution for the perfect mouse question. Which I ditched completely after buying their trackpad. I actually forgot that their is a zen approach to it and ease of use (fat and lazy) that is why I switched. This devices sped up my productivity so much I can’t use a mouse anymore. Their craftsmanship elevated a product to its maturity to the point it blows the other input devices out of the water. But it took to raise it to higher quality levels. I actually didn’t know about the third party app for volume and other gestures. Could you let me know the name of the app please ? Thank you indeed.

I had to switch from Windows laptop to M1 Mac as per company´s request. Very fast machine ngl but in terms of productivity and usability it's just awful, I hate Mac OS and that damn dock every single day. And don´t get me started on multiple desktops work, totally unusable

theres a funny video on youtube about this same topic and he used to work a company that made printers and ink and he had a webpage that showed him 1. The Sales Price 2. The cost for them to make it 3. and how much upcharge the cost to make was like 28 cent and the sales price was like 15$ They pay almost nothing to make these cartages and charge you out the nothing to purchase it

Dont fall for this, the AI editing is crap.

That's my problem with AI, the fact that you have to go through ANYWAYS to double check what AI is doing defeats the purpose. I feel like AfterShoot only shines if you are going to fully trust the program. There is some benefit to be had from the automatic editing, but not so much if you use a lot of masks because AI still struggles with that.

The best thing about this software that you didn’t mention is the fact that everything happens locally on your machine, no need to upload your photos after a shoot to get edited in a server somewhere. No Wi-Fi necessary either.

Also ran into the DNG Converter update issue... unfortunately, I had to go through the process of the edits for an 8,000 photo album twice... then contacted support and was told to update the DNG Converter... then, went back and saw there was an update available to train my profile on the new exposure and white balance (merely 4 hours after I had downloaded and installed the new software)... I'm afraid that whatever time I save by using this will wind up getting eaten by trying to get the software to work... Do I see the benefit, yes. Do I like that there's a 30-day trial, yes.. but this could be done much more smoothly IMO.

What effect does printing have on resolution? Squirting wet ink onto absorbent paper must surely reduce the sharpness of an individual pixel (in a good way actually).

I have a serious quandary! I was originally a Windows user, tried a friend's Mac for a few days, and immediately purchased a Mac. Left Windows behind except a PC for occasional gaming, and after YEARS I still love the Mac OS. I mean absolutely LOVE the Mac OS. Problem? I HATE Apple because their hardware gets worse all of the time. The M1, 2, 3 etc. processors (ARM) are amazing. Yet Apple's greed has led them to solder everything to the motherboard, the NAND is on the SSD so if your SSD goes bad, you must trash your Mac and buy a new one because the SSD is not replaceable, the memory is not replaceable or upgradeable, the graphics and CPU are soldered to the motherboard, so basically you have one hell of an overly-expensive paper weight if ANYTHING goes bad on your Mac. I could go on about the maddening BS Apple gets away with when it comes to their actual hardware. After more years than I care to remember, I have come to the conclusion that APPLE SUCKS, especially since Steve Jobs passed away... and it's getting worse. Apple execs are so f@ckin' rich and apparently out-of-touch with those "beneath them" they apparently "feel" everyone can just simply toss perfectly good hardware in the garbage if something goes wrong, and purchase new Macs... just like that. Apple is so out of touch and their heads so far up their rears, well, of course they cannot see what their exorbitant and crappy hardware schemes do to loyal customers, nor do they even [apparently] care. So basically, I love the Mac OS and HATE Windows in comparison... but I love having a choice of what hardware I want (I build PC's when needed), but I HATE Apple hardware, and I hate Apple itself and the crappy tech bus they seem to cruise around on since Mr. Jobs' passing. I was an absolute Apple afficionado until Tim Cook and company started reverting back to their idiotic pre-Jobs ways. After all, they almost ran themselves out of business in the mid- nineties because of the proprietary hardware scheme they seem to be rapidly returning to from those near-fateful days. I wish MS would get a few HUGE Mac OS clues... logical and functional behaviors the Mac OS has natively that should be inherent in any modern OS... functionality the Mac OS has had for probably 20 years now. And/or I wish Apple would at least allow their customers to replace and/or increase crucial items such as memory, drives, etc.... like PC's have allowed for MORE THAN 20 years! Sorry for the rant... seriously sorry! But I am at one hell of a serious impasse at this time. So, I agree with this channel's OP about Windows, but I completely disagree with his enthusiasm for Apple hardware. Again... SORRY for the rant!

I once used 2 sets of Rode Wireless Pro and I didnt know at first that the venue has a high traffic wifi zone. Drove me crazy. First issue before the start of recording, the transmitters were sending signals in different receivers. Second issue, both transmitters started sending signals in right and different receivers (1 tx of set 1 was sending to rx set 1 and the other tx of set 1 sending to a different rx), third issue during the start of event was signals were getting constantly cut. Fourth issue was I turned on 32 bit float recording on all tx but the signals were also getting cut. It was a nightmare. All in the 2.4 g wifi bullcrap

This guy probably havent filmed in a high traffic 2.4 room.

What really annoys me is that cannon sells different size cartridges for your printer, the thing is the cartridges are all the exact same dimensions, but they don’t fill the ‘standard’ size with much ink.
